Currently, I am the Co-Founder and CEO of Picnic Labs, creator of Picniic—a home hub software platform developed for families and large brands—as well as LifeVault—a people first approach to digitally backing up your life. Previously, I was the Founder and CEO of Fit Brains, one of the world's largest mobile brain training software platforms. It was acquired in 2014 by Rosetta Stone, a publicly-traded language learning company. Subsequently, I joined the Rosetta Stone executive team as Vice-President and General Manager, where I ran one of their four P&Ls.
I have a passion for early-stage companies and a keen interest in consumer products. I enjoy working with larger, forward-thinking organizations that are looking to accelerate their digital roadmaps.
Outside of the proverbial day job, I am a husband, father of two and sport enthusiast. I split my time between playing tennis with my wife, coaching my son in hockey and supporting my daughter in her early university years. Watching my own values of ambition, determination and commitment mimicked in my children is truly rewarding. I also serve as a director on the Burnaby Hospital Board, which is giving back to the community where I originally grew up.
I will continue to co-found, advise and invest in innovative companies. Any writing I do here will be at the intersection of technology, family and life.
